What does the first online psychiatric appointment look like?

I know that the decision to see a psychiatrist for the first time is not easy. That’s why I want to tell you exactly what to expect — so you’ll know what awaits you before you click "Book appointment".

Before the appointment

You book through the website — you choose a time in the calendar. No referral, no documents, no forms to fill out.

You will receive an SMS or email with confirmation and a link to the video call or we will connect by phone (the choice is yours). That’s it.

During the appointment

We talk. That’s all.

There are no questionnaires to complete or rigid protocols. I ask what is important to me — to understand you, not just your symptoms.

I ask about:

• Your wellbeing — since when, how it changes, what helps and what doesn’t

• Sleep, energy, appetite, body

• Work, relationships, daily life

• History — what you’ve already tried, what worked, what didn’t

• What you consider important — because you know yourself best

You don’t need a ready-made history. You don’t need to know what’s wrong with you. It’s enough that you are here.

After the appointment — what do you get?

After the first appointment you will know:

✓ What youre dealing with — a reliable psychiatric diagnosis or a preliminary assessment

✓ Whats next — a concrete plan of next steps

✓ Whether medication is needed — and if so, which, why and what to expect

✓ What you can do yourself — initial nervous system regulation techniques

✓ An e-prescription or sick note — if needed, I issue them during the appointment
